I made gnocchi and had a nice dinner with my Grandparents. Then I bought some gelato for dessert. I’m trying to make tonight nice so I can break the news to them that I am moving out….tomorrow. I know. It’s terrible that I’ve put it off to the last minute, but I’m so afraid of their reaction. They’re going to be angry and heartbroken; the two most horrible feelings. Even though I’ll only be twenty minutes away and even living with them now, I hardly ever see them, the thought of me no longer being under the same roof upsets them. Wish me luck…

So I don’t know if I want to paint my room a muted pastel blue or a muted pastel yellow. I know I want both of those colors in there though, a long with a lot of white. I was thinking if I painted it blue, I’d get yellow bedding, and vise versa. I just don’t know which to do!
Tuesday Jun 6 @ 11:10amI did get a job! In fact, I work at La Dolce Vita now, which is the place where that picture of Little Italy is taken a few posts ago. (How coincidental) I also found an apartment and I’m moving in two days! So excited! My roommates and I are spending the night there Wednesday for the first time and having a small housewarming party. It should be interesting because we wont have any furniture moved in by then. Then all day Thursday we plan to clean clean clean! We’ll probably paint the place on Friday and after that we’ll be all ready to move our things in.
Also, Matthew has abruptly moved back to Toledo for the rest of the summer. This will NOT fly with me. I plan on visiting him next week and (hopefully) bringing him back to my home to live with me for the last month he’ll be in Ohio before moving to Chicago. It is so sad. I am going to miss him so so so much. I’m going to be heartbroken when he leaves. But I’ll be happy that he’s learning things that he has found love for. His films are wonderful, I can’t wait to see what he creates in the next year.

I am exhausted after today! Went for a run before sunrise then I spent the rest of the day in Little Italy with Brittany, my future roommate, and Matthew, my love interest. :)
We walked all around and applied to almost every place there. Matthew was the only one to get a job on the spot, all thanks to his military career, haha. We also gave Brittany a tour of Matthew’s apartment, which will more than likely be our new place in the fall after he moves away. Bitter sweet.
Wednesday May 5 @ 09:50pmI’ve decided to make this blog more personal, so from now on I’ll be posting a lot of personal images taken by myself and just keeping you all updated on what is going on in my life at the time. I figured that would be more of a ‘blog’ than just reposting images that everyone has.
Today may not have been the most interesting day to start this, but I suppose I have to start sometime. I did a loooot of (late) spring cleaning. My room, car, and studio are spotless! Which means I can begin to create!
As for tomorrow, I’ll be going to Little Italy in search for a job with my friend Brittany. Time to start working, saving, and planning for my big move!
Tuesday May 5 @ 08:27pmStarting this week. I want to do and change so many things right now, so I’m going to. I need to take time to focus on myself. I never do that. Ever. I’m always ignoring myself, worrying about someone or something and it doesn’t do anything good. I need to step back from myself, look at what needs work, then go back in and fix it.
What I would like to fix:
- Stick To Exercising.
- A Healthier Diet.
- Lucid Dreaming.
- A Summer Job.
- Better Thinker.
- Harder Worker.
- Learn New Things.
- Be Kind.
Let’s start all this tomorrow, yes?
Sunday Apr 4 @ 10:58pmI don’t sleep nearly as much as I would like, and that takes a pretty big tole on me. I’ve been to a few doctors about it and they always try to put me on medication, but I don’t like that. So now, I am going to start eating a lot healthier and exercising. This should make me feel a lot better, even if my sleeping patterns remain the same.

Emily’s coming over later since it’s going to be collaborative. Something with balloons. And three H’s. And spoken word poetry.
This is probably the easiest week for me thus far for this semester. And it’s a good thing for this time, too.

soooo much work to do tonight. Probably gonna do an all-nighter. I’ve had this really bad urge to watch Titanic lately, probably because I always see screen shots of it on tumblr. haha. But I probably won’t have time to watch it until next weekend. :/
